The terms of reading with Logos

Logos turns reading you choose into editions and sends them to destinations you choose. These terms explain what you may bring into the service and where its responsibility ends.

Who provides the service

Logos is operated by Lakonic Studio. Contact corey@lakonic.dev about these terms or your account. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your Google or Apple sign-in account secure. You are responsible for activity through your Logos account. Logos is intended for people aged 13 or older.

Material you add

You may import feeds, forward newsletters, save links, upload documents, and configure destinations only when you have the right to do so. You keep whatever rights you have in material you provide. You give Logos permission to receive, store, process, format, and transmit that material as needed to operate the service and make the editions and deliveries you request.

Publications and websites remain responsible for their content. Importing a feed or receiving a newsletter does not transfer the publisher's rights to you or to Logos. Logos may acquire a public source once and make its readings available to multiple readers who follow that source. Do not use Logos to distribute material when you lack permission or to send unlawful or abusive content.

Connected accounts and destinations

If you connect Google Drive or Dropbox, you authorize Logos to use the granted access to select or create the destination folder, check that it can write there, and upload editions you ask it to deliver. You can disconnect the account in Logos or revoke access with the provider. The external provider's own terms also apply. If you configure an email address or webhook, you are responsible for choosing a destination you control or are authorized to use.

Delivery limits

Logos records whether a receiving service accepts, rejects, or leaves a delivery uncertain. Acceptance by an email server, cloud provider, or webhook does not guarantee that another device or application will display the EPUB. Source websites, mail systems, AI providers, networks, and destination services can fail or change. We may hold an uncertain send for review to avoid a duplicate delivery.

Availability and changes

We may change or suspend features to keep the service secure and operational, and we may restrict accounts that misuse it. We will update these terms when they change and provide notice of material changes when appropriate. Logos is provided as available; we cannot promise uninterrupted service or preservation of every third-party source.
